Graphic Design & Copywriting
Project completed during full-time employment with Thrivent, prior to the launch of MK Creative.
I designed and wrote social media posts for five regional accounts following corporate brand standards, working with compliance and legal teams for approvals.

In addition to social media, I orchestrated the entire lifecycle of quarterly regional newsletters, from conceptualization to content creation and widespread distribution. I was the designer and main author for the 2022-2023 issues.
Distribution included 230K+ email subscribers, amplified through social media posts, web listings, plus print copies in local offices throughout the 10 state-region.
Graphic Design & Event Promotion

This is one of many examples of creating cohesive on-brand collateral for quarterly keynote events.
I executed promotion through a multi-channel approach including email marketing, paid media, social media, direct mail, as well as creating a marketing toolkit to equip organizational leaders with everything they need to leverage the opportunity.
I designed all event slides, signage, and programs with strategic goal-driven language.
Marketing Campaign - Disaster Response
Project completed during full-time employment with Thrivent, prior to the launch of MK Creative.
Within 48 hours of the devastating 2023 Maui fires beginning, I rallied together enterprise partners across the organization (Thrivent) to lead a disaster response campaign. With an initial goal of $10,000, we were quickly astonished at the outpouring of generosity and increased our goal within 24 hours, as well as gained approval for additional matching funds.
Every marketing and communication tactic was utilized to quickly spread the word. I designed and distributed emails to 230K+ clients and church partners, targeted social media ads, web posts, and internal staff announcements.
In less than two months time, we raised $520,000 in donations that went directly to six nonprofits with boots on the ground in Hawaii, serving those in need. Thrivent matched the full amount $1 for every $2, totaling $780,000.
Cause Marketing Campaign
Project completed during full-time employment with Thrivent, prior to the launch of MK Creative.
During Women’s History Month, I executed a campaign to support four local nonprofits serving women (health services, breast cancer support, financial education etc.)
The receiving non-profits promoted the campaign via their social platforms, websites, blogs, and emails to donors and constituents. This cross-promotion was key to the campaign's success, as well as to showcase Thrivent's generosity differentiator.
By the end of the month we raised $9K and collected 438 submissions.
Branded Merch
Thrivent team members hired MK Creative to design custom merch for employee appreciation events.
Custom engraved Yeti mugs and baseball jerseys were a big hit!
